Pistol Caliber Carbines

Anyone else like them for close to mid-range defense/pest control? Show us yours, please.

Ruger PC9 for backyard varmint control without undue noise. My favorite factory load is Winchester 147 JHP@1150 fps. Prints 1 inch groups at 40+ yards with 2x scope. Takes Ruger factory P85 mags as well as MecGar 17s and aftermarket 20 rounders. They are discontinued, but still available. Recently picked mine up for $439 new...

Don't have a picture of mine but it looks like this:

I've had a Marlin 1894 on backorder for getting close to a year now.

I like the original, US Rifle Caliber 30 Carbine. There's not much that's handier or more fun to shoot.

I'm also a fan of a 44mag in a Winchester 94 Trapper (16" tube). It's not a 45/70, but it's quite a thumper, and holds 10.

Pics? You don't think I actually own any firearms, do you? Those things are dangerous!:shocked_ma:

I would really love to get a 9mm carbine so I could share ammo with the GLOCK... unfortunately toys like the KelTec Sub2000 are banned in Commiefornia, so I don't have one yet.

That is my friends bug out gun.

I've shot it and its not bad for what it is. OK groups and it packs a bit of a punch with a 40S&W caliber. He has matched it with his Glock 40.
